At J. Rick McCommon Fine Art, we believe that anyone can unleash their inner artist. Inspired by the legendary Bob Ross, our founder picked up painting later in life after stumbling on the Bob Ross channel and becoming captivated by "The Joy of Painting" episodes which originally appeared on PBS in the late '80's and early '90's. After watching the shows and hearing Bob say through the TV screen one too many times that: "you can do this!", Rick came to believe and went out and bought some canvases, paints, and brushes, and began his new hobby and passion.
